High School - Hilltop Scholars

Hilltop Scholars at the high school level focus on academic rigor and growth through 1:1 mentoring with academic coaches, leadership development, and STEAM-centric enrichments. Programming also in includes college and career preparation on an individualized level through financial literacy classes, SAT prep, scholarship research, admissions guidance and internship opportunities. Peace invites students from all Tacoma high schools to gather at our newly expanded community center located at 21st and S Cushman.

Our Goals
  • Opportunities for students to explore identity, create post-secondary and career plans
  • Complete credits required for admission into four-year college
  • Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA
  • 90% attendance (or above)

    • Preference will be given to those students historically underrepresented in college
