Each year, more than 350 volunteers support our students by tutoring, serving meals and providing general support and encouragement. We hope you’ll consider learning more about our volunteer opportunities.
Ongoing opportunities include supporting students in 2nd-5th grade by helping with their homework, developing their reading skills, encouraging in them a love of learning or leading an enrichment activity of your favorite hobby. One-time opportunities such as field trip support or van driving are available as well.
Monday-Thursday afternoons- 3:30-6:00 p.m. from October to May at McKinley Elementary School for the 2015-2016 school year.
Help our middle school students excel in their classes! We are looking for ongoing volunteers to support homework understanding and completion, lead enrichment classes or support field trips. One-time opportunities such as transportation assistance are also available.
Monday-Thursday afternoons- 2:50-5:30 p.m. from October to May at Jason Lee Middle School.
Support high school students towards graduation and college-readiness. Come help kids understand their homework, write essays, apply to colleges and scholarships. If tutoring support doesn’t fit your schedule, consider hosting a student for an internship or job shadowing experience!

We are always looking for volunteers to help out with offices duties! Volunteer hours are flexible and we need volunteers year-round to help with everything from mailings to data entry!
